Stay tuned and you will be able to find amazing copyright-free images for your website/blog totally free!

There are mainly two ways as mentioned below:

  1. Google Tool
  2. Some popular free Websites

Let’s see, how to get copyright-free images through each method step by step.

Google Tool:

When we search for any images on google, the images provided by google may subject to copyright! But there is one tool provided by Google itself to get copyright free images!

To get copyright free images,

Search the term for which you want copyright-free images in Google and head over to “images” section.

Now, click on “tools”, which is available on the right side.

Now, head over to “Usage Rights” and click on “Labelled for Reuse”.

As you can see in below image, you will get images filtered that are allowed to use without any restriction.

This was all about Google. Now, let’s take a look at some amazing websites that provide copyright free images for free!

Some popular free Websites

Here we are going to take a look at four different sites, so that in case, if you can’t find your desired image, you can check in other sites as well. In all the websites mentioned below, you can download the images in different sizes according to your need.

1. Pixabay

Here, in the very first row, as you can see, those images are sponsored, so you have to pay for those images if you wanna download any of those images.

So, start looking from the second row. Those images are totally free. As per their claim, they have a collection of more than 1.8 million stock images and videos! That’s really a huge collection, right?! Enjoy!

2. Pixels

In pixels, there are some amazing challenges available! So, there is no doubt that you can download so many images from there for free. But you can also win prizes by uploading photos there!

3. Unsplash

In Unsplash, there are over 2 million high resolution images, free to use!

4. Shutterstock

I am personally not a big fan of Shutterstock as you have to log in to download the image. In addition to that, you can download only 10 images in a free trial. Then, you have to upgrade!

Plus, there is a watermark on Shutterstock images. I mean, like seriously?! How would you feel if all of these images in the blog have some letters written on it?! That doesn’t feel good, right?!

But still, in case if you can’t find your desired image anywhere from above mentioned websites or from google, you can give a try!

All the mentioned websites contain a huge collection of high quality free to use images and videos. But these websites are also accepting images if you have some very good images clicked! It’s always better to give something in return (of course, only if you can!) if you are getting something for free!

And as I mentioned earlier, in pixels, you get a chance to win amazing prizes by completing challenges! So, get help, and also help others if you can. If you are not a photographer, no problem, It’s not compulsory anyway!

I hope, this article was informative enough and you got the answer! If so, then don’t forget to share the knowledge with those who are also looking for copyright free images and also with photographers, so that they can contribute.

If you have any queries, feel free to ask in comment. I’ll be glad to help you.

  1. Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Cheers|

    1. The most important thing that you must have is content and passion. If you have that, then it’s not that tough! You can start with either WordPress(self-hosted, if you can spend some bucks for hosting and all) or Blogger(if you don’t wanna spend money on your blog.). You can find tutorials on youtube. And yes, make sure you write your own content instead of copying and work on SEO as well. That’s all!
